All About alden
alden wallace is a visual storyteller who infuses projects with a natural beauty and a buoyant effortlessness that speaks authentically to audiences. He is especially adept at speaking to Millennial audiences – a world he genuinely inhabits. alden began his career as a still photographer, shooting campaigns and magazine editorial for a long list of clients, including Tory Burch, Miller Genuine Draft, Nike, Google, Universal Studios, and Post Cereal, among others. His photographer’s eye translates into being particularly attuned to wardrobe, casting, and framing that are simultaneously aspirational and authentic.
An innate curiosity and passion for delving deeper into the brand narrative led alden to expand into directing. The trust he built with clients and brands allowed him to do so, and resulted in multiple shoots for Mercedes, Oakley and Motorola. Signing with kaboom, his first representation, allows Alden to take his skillset to new heights with depth of support and an expanded toolset.
alden lives in Los Angeles with his wife and newborn daughter.
Even More About Alden
The same qualities that translate to visual gold behind the lens no doubt turned alden’s mother prematurely grey. His boundless energy and innate curiosity make him a deeply engaging storyteller. But as a kid, they drove him to try drinking up the Rio Grande River (heard it would make him a real Texan). He faked a leg injury at 9 to get a ride in an ambulance. He’d dress in camouflage to infiltrate mothers’ dinner parties. At 10 he was driving around in a Fire Chief truck—with a stick-shift, mind you. He’d regularly hop across the Mexican border to procure fireworks, pocketknives and candy.
Surely Mom was reassured by his decision to skip the whole college thing and take up photography. And growing up also meant trading in tree climbing for rock-climbing. Well, at least there were ropes. But just as he did as a kid, alden has proved his self-reliance and ingenuity always win the day. He’s a natural problem solver, he brings all of himself into each and every project, and he speaks in a Millenial vernacular that is as compelling as it is authentic.
So we’re pretty sure Mom is proud. He did, after all, make amends with his “Sorry Mom” Mother’s Day spot. And having just become a father himself, alden is sure to keep his childlike enthusiasm alive for some time to come.
