Even More About Reynir
Just because reynir is from Iceland doesn’t mean he can get Bjork to sign your t-shirt. But it does mean he’s developed the kind of fabulously quirky artistry that can only come from living on the sub-arctic, thermally hyperactive island. As a teenager there, while the rest of us were failing to score babes in the mall, reynir was out toting a camera, developing his film chops, and collecting awards for his video work and short films.
After further refining his craft at the prestigious CECC in Barcelona, reynir hightailed it back to Iceland where he racked up another closet full of awards for his choreographic shorts. Somehow, all the time spent in editing suites instead of malls actually worked – he scored the babe! reynir is married to Icelandic actress Elma Lisa Gunnarsdottir. When he’s not whispering sweet nothings to her in a Viking dialect, reynir can be found spinning discs at trendy clubs and working on a feature-length slasher flick.
Basically, reynir is a film guy’s guy, and we’re extremely excited to have him on our roster. His remarkable visual sense adds a distinctly European kind of cool to kaboom’s reel. And we’re hopeful that he can score us some deep discounts on those natty Icelandic sweaters.
